Self-care
Taking care of yourself helps you reduce the feeling of
stress about yourself. It's not always easy to get a self-care habit, so here
are some tips to get started!
Take some time to do something you really enjoy. No matter
whether you watch a crummy TV, listen to your favorite playlist or bake, an
occasional break will activate you and improve your mood.
You can also choose to treat yourself - we all need to spoil
sometimes! Treating yourself can be what you want - bathing, buying something
you want, having coffee, sleeping, or spending a lazy pajama day for you.
Focus on your positives
It's very easy to get stuck in things you're not good at, or
areas you want to change or work on. But that doesn't usually make you feel
impressive!
Instead, try to take a break and focus on what you like
about yourself. Try to write down your achievements, personal qualities, or
compliments you have received, and keep them in a place where you will
regularly see them.
Take a social media break
While we're all on social media to help you stay in touch,
it can sometimes be a competition for the best feed or profile picture. Keep in
mind that social media is just a snapshot of someone's life (and is usually
carefully selected to portray the most impressive parts of life!). If you find
yourself comparing yourself to others, close your apps and rest.
Exercise and eat well
Taking care of your physical health is absolutely essential
in protecting your mental health. Exercise and eating well don't mean you have
to hit the gym daily and eat 100% of the time - it is about finding the right
balance for you.
Making sure you get regular meals and snacks every day, and
being aware of 30-minute workouts during the week will keep you on track. In
addition, endorphins will give you positive feelings.
OUR SERVICES
Mindfulness exercise
Mindfulness is all about being present and realizing the
present moment, with an attitude of acceptance and non-judgment. You can do
anything rationally - eating, walking, coloring, drawing, listening to music,
sitting on the bus ...
All you have to do is focus consciously on what you are
experiencing, including what you can see, hear, touch, taste, smell, think and
feel. There are lots of apps to help you learn to wake up - try
"Breathing" or "Smiling Mind".
